Privacy, in plain English.

The short version: we collect what a booking marketplace needs and nothing exotic. The full Privacy Policy ships with the launch legal pack and is currently in draft, pending attorney review.

What we collect

  • Name, email, and what you tell us at booking (lanes, session goals) — so your tastemaker can prepare.
  • Application materials if you apply to be a tastemaker (socials, prompt answers, vetting scores).
  • Session metadata: who booked whom, when, cancellations, ratings. Sessions are not recorded by defaultand we don't listen in — recording requires both parties to opt in.
  • Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store full card numbers.

What we don't do

  • We don't sell your personal information.
  • We don't share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
  • We don't buy data about you from brokers.
  • Published trend insights (The Current Report) are aggregated and anonymized — never your name, never your words attributably.

Your rights

  • Ask what we have, ask us to delete it, ask us to correct it — we honor CCPA-style rights for everyone, in any state.
  • The platform is 18+ only; we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

The full draft covers retention windows, service providers, and request mechanics. It ships in the legal pack (legal/privacy-policy.md) and takes effect only after attorney review and a published effective date. Questions: hello@quencee.com. See also the Terms of Service and plain-language policies.
